Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13

Observation: in chapter 12, Paul highlights the special gifts that differentiate us.  Today, he reveals the key to living harmoniously together, as well as, being happy.

Application: 1 Corinthians 13 is known as the “love” chapter in the Bible and is often read during marriage ceremonies.  Ironically, Paul humbly wrote the letter to the Corinthian church to address their haughty attitudes.  Notice that he doesn’t command anyone to do anything.  Rather, he gives them the “answer” and expects them to figure it out.  

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the answer to my frustrations.  Please help me to love as You love.
