Scripture: Psalm 34:8 Commentary: This is an address to others, founded on the experience of the psalmist. He had found protection from the Lord; he had had evidence of His goodness; and he asks now of others that they would make the same trial which he had made. Barnes' Notes on the Bible Application: In order to share the good news of Jesus, a person must first experience the good news of Christ. Recognizing their sacrifice, David refused to drink the water and instead honored their loyalty by pouring it out as an offering to the Lord. Wow.
