1 Corinthians 15 - Day 786 (link to reading)
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:16-19 Observation: Paul addresses the Corinthian Church’s heresy that there is no resurrection of the dead. His argument is simple. If there is no resurrection of the dead, then even Jesus couldn’t have been resurrected. If Jesus wasn’t resurrected, then our beliefs are false and we are wasting our time. Application: It’s our responsibility is to validate our beliefs. Without knowing and believing that "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, he was buried and raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and then he appeared to Peter, the twelve and then to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters,” we’re susceptible to pointless theories that distract our focus and energies. Prayer: Lord, reveal Yourself to us. Open our eyes to see... Comments are closed.
