Scripture: 1 Kings 22:1-7 and 34

Observation: Ahab's prophets tell their king what he wants to hear.

Application: Ahab circumvented God's warning and ended up dead.  Even though he disguised himself and used Jehoshaphat as a decoy, a lone arrow shot randomly by an unknown archer pierced the joints of Ahab's armor to deliver God's justice.

Prayer: Lord, without Your help, I realize that I'm no better than Ahab.  Have mercy on me a sinner...
