Scripture: 1 Samuel 25:32-35 

Observation: Abigail, Nabal's wife, intercedes for her husband and saves his life.

Application: The book of Proverbs tells us that a good wife is a gift from the Lord.  Abigail learns of her husband's reckless response and wisely intercepts David and his army to apologize for Nabal's stupidity.  Her prudent mediation saves her household but ironically, Nabal dies the next day.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for my good wife...
