Scripture: 1 Samuel 30:1-8

Observation: David and his men returned home to Ziklag and discovered that their town was destroyed and that their families were kidnapped by the Amalekites.

Application: Who do you turn to in times of trouble?  In his time of desperation, David found strength in the Lord his God (verse 6).
