Scripture: 2 Chronicles 31:5-10

Observation: Hezekiah reinstituted the "Tithe" and the people responded generously by bringing the first share of their crops, livestock and all they produced and the Lord blessed His people.

Application: Tithes are not "payments" to God for services rendered.  Our tithes are symbolically a reflection of our heart, as we faithfully obey YHWH's instructions.  We don't give God our tithes expecting to be blessed.  We give because God has already blessed us abundantly.  In our obedience, God blesses us more.
