Scripture: 2 Samuel 12:13-14

Observation: The Lord is displeased with David and sends Nathan the prophet to confront him.

Application: The penalty for sin is death.  However, sometimes it's not our death but someone close to us.  In this story, David and Bathsheba's innocent infant is sacrificed for their adulterous affair.  How have my sins destroyed the lives of those around me?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, have mercy on me a sinner....
