Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:14-19

Observation: Paul continues to equip his young prodigy with essential skills to lead the early church.

Application: Monku, monku, monku (Japanese for: complain, complain, complain)!  It’s amazing how quickly we can stray from the truth when we fixate our minds on the ungodly.  Hymenaeus and Philetus drifted so far, as to claim that Christ had already returned and that those who remained missed it.  Great reminder to focus on Jesus, not the godless chatter that distracts us from our mission.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, please strengthen our resolve as we pursue You.
