Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:1-5

Observation: Paul explains that there will be people who disregard sound teaching and wander away.

Application: People will ultimately do what they want to do.  Paul warns Timothy that there will be people in the church who disregard the truth to chase after myths to fit their "own desires."  Apparently, Paul wasn't only speaking to Timothy but was preparing leaders in every generation to continue fighting the good fight by teaching God's truth (love God, love others, and teach people how to do that).
