Acts 10 - Day 721 (link to reading)
Scripture: Acts 10:1-4 Observation: Cornelius was an officer in the Roman army who was part of the institution that oppressed the Israelites. As an officer, he was loyal to Caesar, who was considered to be a Demi-god. Yet somehow, someway, he was introduced to the God of Israel and Cornelius began to worship Yahweh - as evident by his prayers and gifts to the poor. Application: Actions speak louder than words. Are my actions communicating my love for Jesus? Prayer: Thank you Lord for the opportunities that you provide to share your love, compassion and grace to those who need it most. Comments are closed.
