Exodus 34 - Day 87 (link to reading plan)
Scripture: Exodus 34:8-9 Observation: Moses pleads for God to go with them, as he acknowledges that the Israelites are a stubborn and rebellious people, so they need His help to survive. Application: Notice the pronouns Moses uses to describe the people and their (collective) iniquities and sins. When confronting Pharaoh, Moses referred to the Israelites as God's people. Here, Moses recognizes and accepts the responsibility that he is their leader. Moses has certainly grown and matured since the burning bush. Prayer: Lord, please travel with us. Comments are closed.
