Exodus 4 - Day 57 (link to daily reading)
Scripture: Exodus 4:1-17 Observation: Moses objects to God's request for him to return to Egypt. Application: Moses tries to negotiate and makes one excuse after another for not being able to be God's representative, until finally the "anger of the Lord burned against Moses" (NASB). Whatever that meant or looked like, it was effective in finally convincing Moses to acquiesce to God's commands. God loves us so much that He'll meet us where we are at, but loves us too much to leave us there. Even if that means that His anger burns against us to get us moving. Prayer: Lord, forgive me for dragging my feet and resisting Your instructions. Comments are closed.
