Scripture: Ezekiel 28:11-19

Commentary (thewarehouse.blog): In one of the most intriguing chapters, the prophecy against Tyre moves from the city itself to the King.  Where this becomes fascinating and commentators agree this also speaks to the fall of Satan, describing parts of the puzzle pieces which led to his fall.

Ezekiel has been speaking again and again about pride.  Pride which has affected everything about his being.  Truly if you simply read this chapter with the mindset to dig out what is said about a person filled with pride, it is not only spot on – it is downright frightening as to what God will do to bring humility...

Application: God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.  Why is it so hard for me to humble myself?
