Scripture: Joshua 10:8

Observation: Even though the Israelites were tricked into making a covenant with the Gibeonites, the Lord blessed their efforts to keep their commitment.

Application: Be a person of integrity and keep your word, especially to yourself.  The Lord honored the Israelite's promise.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be true to You and myself...
